Cyr Point Stable and Restorative Pathways Therapy join together to offer a unique experience of horses and therapy.
Restorative Pathways and Cyr Point Stables is excited to announce a new partnership that combines Cesare Perlini’s and Robin Cyr’s expertise and experience with horses to offer an equine-assisted psychotherapy program in Orlando, Florida. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) is a form of therapy that helps with trauma, PTSD, anxiety issues, boundaries, self-esteem, and impulse control, including attention-deficit disorders.
“I’m so pleased to be working with Robin and Cyr Point Stables to offer my clients this therapy technique,” Cesare said. “It’s a terrific venue in a soothing setting and with great horses to work with.”
Cesare and Cyr first met over 10 years ago when Robin reached out to Cesare for help with a troubled horse she had. The horse got the help she needed and Cesare and Robin continued to collaborate over the years with different horses on different issues. She even persuaded him to show a couple of horses over fences and in the dressage ring. There has always been mutual respect between the two of them and it is a relationship that has endured due in no small part to their shared appreciation of the horse and an innate desire to help people experience the benefits of having amazing relationships with horses.
“We’re so thrilled to have our dear friend Chessie and his Restorative Pathways equine therapy program working out of our barn,” Robin said. “His skill and experience with horses is phenomenal. His caring nature comes through to the horses and to his therapy clients.”
Restorative Pathways offers compassionate therapy for emotional well-being, personal growth, and healthier relationships through talk therapy, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and EMDR techniques.
Robin said this about Cesare and his dedication to education and skills.
“He’s worked so hard to finish his degree doing this extremely special and important work. Specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, social skill building, and mild to moderate spectrum disorders, he’s now able to take clients in the office or provide therapy with the horses.”
